You may have seen a few sites with https prefixed before it .Such sites in addition to the HTTP protocol also have the SSL (secure socket layer protocol) for advanced encryption of any data exchanged between by the site client and the server .In this tutorial ,we see how the secure socket layer can be installed on your domain with a practical example .Since i am using Godaddy hosting provider ,i show it using Godaddy but it should be more or less same for any other hosting provider .This video forms the first part of the series .In this basically , you simply need to first set up the SSL certificate for the account to get activated and then wait for a couple of minutes for the certificates to get active ...
