Fresh boiled cabbage taste as sweet as apples! If you are thinking of visiting Hokkaido during winter, do put in more scenery travelling in your itinerary instead of urban areas as snow mixed with cars turn to ugly brown mud-like colours. For the purest snow experiences, travel up the mountains and you'll be gifted with an amazing view :) Oh yes, who doesn't stick out their tongue to taste a falling snowflake?
