How To Join MP4 Files Using MP4Joiner For Free

http://tiny.cc/dwjdux Click to save 6% at any Macxdvd software.
This video tutorial shows you how to join and merge MP4 video files together using a free utility, MP4Joiner. The utility is cross-platform and free to download and use and can be found on the official MP4Joiner website http://www.mp4joiner.org/. The site provides binaries for Microsoft Windows and Mac OS X. The source code is also available so you could compile for another platform if required. The great thing about this utility is that it joins the files without re-encoding them. This ensures the output is exactly the same quality as the input clips. However, you can only join clips that share the same properties. They must be the same resolution, aspect ratio and frame rate. Ideally they should have been encoded using the same settings. When I've used this tool I have usually been joining together clips I have exported from my video editing application using the same encoding preset. I used it to stitch together scenes that I had individually exported from my video editing software using the same export settings. NOTE : Pay attention during the installation as the installer will suggest other software items to install. By clicking "Decline" or "Skip" you can ignore this items. While this items are included to generate revenue for the author I personally don't think they are very useful for the user. The example MP4 clips were obtained from http://www.OrangeHD.com. A great source of free HD stock footage which is listed on the http://www.FreeStockFootage.co.uk site. Don't forget to take a look at my other videos which include a collection of other digital media "How To" tutorials. These complement the tutorials that also available on my low-budget film making site http://www.matthawkins.co.uk/. -------------------------------- This video was created using GIMP, Adobe Premiere, Audacity and Ashampoo Snap 7.
