The Hook Up: Evander Holyfield & Darryl Strawberry visit Yonkers PAL and Winthrop Hospital

In the latest episode of The Hook-Up, Brandon Steiner was accompanied by 4x World Series Champion Darryl Strawberry and 5x Heavyweight Champion Evander Holyfield as they visited the Yonkers PAL and Winthrop University Hospital. Kids participating in the baseball program were surprised with personal instruction from Strawberry and new gear from Rawlings. Holyfield gave an inspiring talk to members of the boxing program and also brought new gear, graciously donated by Everlast. At Winthrop University Hospital in Mineola, NY, Steiner, Strawberry and Holyfield spent time with patients in the cancer center. With Strawberry being a cancer survivor himself, he was able offer words of encouragement from a personal perspective. Winthrop is one of the first hospitals in the world to offer CyberKnife treatment, a non-invasive, pain-free alternative to surgery for the treatment of both cancerous and non-cancerous tumors.
