In May we sent travel blogger Macca Sherifi on our #MysteryLuggage Challenge. The idea was to send Macca on someone else's holiday with a mysterious suitcase from a lost luggage auction. After buying a suitcase from Greasby's auction house he went straight to the airport without knowing his destination, or the contents of the case. At the airport he booked a last minute city trip to Barcelona where he would spend 3 days experiencing the city in the clothes of a total stranger. Once he arrived at his hotel the contents of the suitcase were revealed - fabulous dresses, tops and skirts, perfect summer weather in Barcelona! In his newly acquired clothes Macca went off to explore the centre of Barcelona, utilising tips from our 3 day guide: http://www.expedia.co.uk/vc/72-hours-in/barcelona/ He went to La Rambla, a tree lined boulevard in the heart of the city. La Boccheria was his next stop, a large public market where merchants sell fresh fruit, meat, fish and vegetables as well as sweet pastries and chocolate. To quench his thirst for the arts, Macca explored the famous architecture of Gaudi such as the Sagrada Familia and Park Güell all whilst wearing the clothes of the mystery luggage owner. In this breath-taking centre of the arts, Macca was quite the artwork himself. We did not find the owner of our #MysteryLuggage, however, Macca had a great time going on someone else's holiday and experiencing Barcelona.
